Technology for Fun School Classrooms

Technology in the classroom.
Technology in learning is helpful for teachers or even students. Especially, learning about languages through technology. It will be enjoyable for students to bring it up to the classroom. It brings many benefits by using this modern technology. In learning, the teacher needs media or sample to do the best goal of learning for students. Goals addressed include competency of online tools for teaching, creating ways to collaborate, curate, present and implement online resources into a curriculum, and knowledge of online safety procedures and conduct codes for students and teachers. By using special technology, the students or learners stimulate being active to do the activity freely and happily.

There are many ways to do that fun activity. One of the best technology is website. It is made in order to help teachers or educators to be an active one. Not only for students to be an active, but also the teacher themselves hopefully to be an active one first. The example of the website is “edteachteacher”. It serves many teaching-learning references. There are some sub-menu that contains lesson and the activities, book resources, presentations and multimedia that will be used by teachers, research of writing, even iPads and mobile device applications and many more. Each sub-menu has different function to fulfill or help teacher. What amazing website it is! Only using for one website, they can explore many things and sources. This is one of the benefits that can be earned by the teachers in many ways.

Studying instruction by technology brings unexpected possibility in classroom. A teacher’s method, he or she can give instruction to their students for online self-studying. They can read and complete exercises in the web-browser, from anywhere with an Internet connection. After that, having discussion forums with teachers on the course. Then, end-of-course quiz provides feedback and suggests areas for revision. By doing so, the teacher needs to observe and supervise the process in class. It takes course duration more effective and efficient for sure. The students can absorb easily and the teacher does not have to take some complicated learning on it. Furthermore, in the book, there are plenty of examples of case studies of teachers doing these kinds of activities, so you can see how technology can be effectively used to support the language development process. These ideas will help teacher integrate technology into practices in a way that leads to real outcomes for your learners.

Garry Motteram argued that digital technologies are ideally placed to help teachers working with learners, and learners working independently, to do the necessary ‘languaging’ (M. Swain Opens in a new tab or window.) that makes their language development possible. I personally agree. It is such a great innovation that students can learned individually without teacher standing always behind them. they can explore more deeper. For example, If we take writing as a starting point, technology in the form of word processors (and the many other ways we now have of producing text) allows us to work at the language. The tools can also help us by showing that our spelling or grammar needs work, too. Technology makes this much easier, and makes it more likely that learners will engage with the editing process to produce the highest-quality text that they can.
